How do I configure and run a new Report Generator?

Once you have a dashboard that you would like to produce a report for, then go to this dashboard and follow these steps:


  1. Click on ‘Share’ in the top navigation bar of your dashboard and select the ‘Report Generator' option



  1. Click on ‘Create’ to configure a report. Add a Report name and the recipient(s) email address(es).




  1. Configure a query in the Analyze tool that represents the list of dimension values that need to be filtered on during PDF generation. Once the link is pasted, a summary of the reports to be created will show up. You can download a sample report to validate the format and filters of the dashboard.


  1. If you are satisfied with the downloaded sample, click on save ‘Save Configuration’ and ‘Run’


  1. While the reports are loading, the window will display the progress in the form of a percentage.



  1. When the generation process completes, the recipients will receive a link via email to access the downloaded PDFs.
