How do I configure and run a new Report Generator?
Once you have a dashboard that you would like to produce a report for, then go to this dashboard and follow these steps:
- Click on ‘Share’ in the top navigation bar of your dashboard and select the ‘Report Generator' option
- Click on ‘Create’ to configure a report. Add a Report name and the recipient(s) email address(es).
- Configure a query in the Analyze tool that represents the list of dimension values that need to be filtered on during PDF generation. Once the link is pasted, a summary of the reports to be created will show up. You can download a sample report to validate the format and filters of the dashboard.
- If you are satisfied with the downloaded sample, click on save ‘Save Configuration’ and ‘Run’
- While the reports are loading, the window will display the progress in the form of a percentage.
- When the generation process completes, the recipients will receive a link via email to access the downloaded PDFs.
