How do I create a new role?

Click the ‘Create Role’ button at the top right of the Role Management tab.


There are three main sections to be filled while creating new roles:


  1. Name: Name the new role
  2. Tool Access: Select the tools which this role will grant access to
  3. Data Access: Select whether this role will grant access to data from all data sources and geographies or select specific ones. You can also manage whether this role will grant a user the permission to download images and data from the platform.


There is also an option to ‘Show advanced options’. If you expand this, you will see options for ‘Sitewide Access’. Sitewide access allows you to control whether this role will grant access to all dashboards and/or alerts on the platform and if so, what type of access. See the next section for more information.
