How do I enable dashboard filters?

You can enable filters that apply to all visualizations in your dashboard. Enabling this will add a filter control to the dashboard.

To add group bys:

1. Go to the ‘Filter Configuration’ tab in ‘Settings’.
2. Enable the ‘Allow users to use filters on this dashboards’
3. Choose which group by (geography and date range) you would like to be available to your users

You can decide where on your screen (top or left of your dashboard) you would like to have the filter control. You can make your selection in the ‘QUERY PANE ORIENTATION’ section on the ‘Filter Configuration’ tab in ‘Settings’.
