This guide will demonstrate how to add individuals to campaigns based on their engagement with a LinkedIn post.


This feature allows for targeted campaigns towards users who have interacted with specific LinkedIn content.


💡 TIP: This will target people who engaged by liking OR commenting.


1. Adding People to the Campaign


Open up the campaign (either current campaign or creating a new campaign) any point click on "new search."


From the options, select "post URL."


2. Find the Post URL


Navigate to the LinkedIn profile of the person whose post you're interested in.


Locate the desired post. If it's on your own feed, find the post and click on the three dots next to it.


From the dropdown, select "copy link to post."


3. Paste the Post URL


  • Ensure "post URL" is selected in your campaign tool.

  • Paste the copied URL into the designated field.

  • Click "add search" to finalize.


4. Save Changes to Campaign


❗IMPORTANT: Make sure you save your changes to the campaign or it will not


save!

Q: How long does it usually take for the engaged users to appear in the campaign?


Answer: It might not be immediate. Give it some time for the system to parse through the engagements and add the users to the campaign.


Q. Can I add people who engaged with posts of others on LinkedIn or only add people who engaged with my posts?


Q: What does "engaged" with a post mean? Does it mean people who commented or liked the post?


Q: What if I'm currently connected or NOT connected to the people who engaged with the post.
