How do I specify a geographic filter for my analysis?
A geographic filter enables you to decide the geographic scope of your analysis. For example, if you choose a specific municipality, only data for that municipality will go into the analysis of the selected indicators. If the filter is set to two or more specific states, then data only from those states will be available for your analysis.
To select a geographic filter:
- Go to the Analyze page, and
- Under the ‘Filters’ section, click on the ‘Add+’ button and make a selection from the ‘Geography’ menu (e.g. State or Municipality). This gives you a drop down menu where you can select one or more locations.
- Click on the drop down menu, or use the search function, to find and specify your geographies of interest. You can select one or more geographies for a single analysis.
Note: the geographic hierarchy is pre-defined for your platform.
