How do I use the pivoting function?

By default, Tables are displayed with indicators as columns, and group bys as rows. Pivoting the Table moves your ‘group by’ to columns and the indicators to rows. To pivot your table:

1. Go to ‘Group by’ and add the dimension you want to disaggregate on (e.g. State, Month).
2. Go to the ‘General’ settings in ‘Settings'. Under ‘Display options’ click on the ‘Pivot Table By’ dropdown menu and select the dimension that you would like to pivot by. By default, tables are pivoted by indicators, as shown in the first image below. The second image shows the table with 'States' pivoted.
