What happens if you assign multiple roles to a user or group?

If you assign 2 roles to a user, the user will be given access to the tools and data granted by both roles. The more roles that are assigned to a user or group, the more access is given.

For example if you had the following 2 roles:

1. Role 1 granting Analyze tool access only, no Data Access including no ‘Data Export’ permission
2. Role 2 granting Dashboard tool and all Data Access including all data sources, geos as well as data export access

A user with both of these roles assigned would gain access to the Analyze tool, the Dashboard tool and all Data Access including data export.

The same would be true for a group with both of these roles assigned: all members of the group would get access to the Analyze tool, the Dashboard tool and all Data Access including data export.
